Beraborrow
DeFi CDP protocol on Berachain that peaked above $400M TVL in early 2025, fourth largest of its kind at the time.

Problem
Beraborrow is a collateralised debt position protocol on Berachain. At its peak in early 2025 it held more than $400M in total value locked, which put it fourth among CDP protocols by total value locked. Every action on it moves real money: opening a debt position, staking, putting funds into a vault. The interface has to make that money legible, so a user can see what is collateralised, what is earning, and what a change would cost them. The product also kept growing, so the pages that already existed had to be reworked as new features landed on top of them.
Solution
I was the founding product engineer on a four-engineer team building multichain DeFi products, with high ownership and almost no process overhead. Picking up an area of the app meant owning it.
I implemented the Staking page. I then led the redesign and feature expansion of three more areas: Vaults, Borrow (which the protocol calls Dens) and Pool.
The stack was React and TypeScript on Vite, web3 for chain interaction, TanStack for data, Jotai for state, Tailwind for styling, Node underneath.
Outcome
Beraborrow is live at app.beraborrow.com, and its numbers are public on DefiLlama. The same team shipped further products alongside it, including Godspeed and Basino, a roulette game I built with PixiJS and deployed on Berachain.
